2023年2月21日，哥倫比亞廣播公司續(xù)訂《幸存者》第四十五季。本季將是自新冠疫情爆發(fā)以來(lái)的第五季播出，將繼續(xù)遵守第41季引入的嚴(yán)格安全協(xié)議，因此，本季將繼續(xù)維持26天的游戲時(shí)間，有18名參賽者分成三個(gè)部落。據(jù)透露，在上一季中被醫(yī)療后送走的參賽者Bruce Perreault將在第四十五季回歸。
